What our Education Programme does to protect Africa’s pangolins
Our education pack teaches youth about pangolins, why they are a unique part of Africa’s heritage, and why they need to be protected. With the support of our trusted partners, we deliver packs to local teachers, environmental club staff, and other community leaders who deploy the course using the packs we provide.
This approach enables us to tailor course materials for the needs and local languages of school children. Our focus is on schools based where pangolins are found naturally in the wild — regions with high poaching risk, where poaching is sometimes part of livelihoods or cultural traditions.
