Expanding Our Impact: New Student Accommodation at the Kalahari Wildlife Project

Frontline conservation requires dedication, hard work, and a place for passionate people to stay while doing it. We are excited to highlight our ongoing collaboration with the Kalahari Wildlife Project, a critical sanctuary in the Northern Cape dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rewilding vulnerable wildlife—including the region's treasured pangolins.

To support the influx of passionate students, veterinary volunteers, and animal handlers who dedicate their time to caring for rescued animals, the Kalahari Wildlife Project undertook the construction of a brand-new student accommodation facility.

Building infrastructure in remote areas comes with its fair share of logistical hurdles—from navigating rugged dirt roads to managing difficult weather conditions. However, thanks to incredible industry collaboration and generous donor support, the vision became a reality.

Providing proper facilities for on-site students ensures that animals in distress receive round-the-clock care and monitoring. We are immensely proud to support sanctuaries like the Kalahari Wildlife Project as they build the physical capacity needed to protect Africa’s most endangered species.
