World Pangolin Day, Saturday 20 February 2021
If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past year, it’s that our actions have consequences! The global pandemic has taught us that the way we treat animals has profound repercussions. We need to be mindful of our actions every day, and think about what we do, what we eat and what we purchase.
This World Pangolin Day, we’re inviting you to choose ONE thing in your day that you can do better – and do it #4pangolins!
We know that options for what you can do may be quite limited during this time but be creative!
Need some ideas? Wear a mask #4pangolins. Shop ethically #4pangolins. Prepare a vegetarian or vegan meal #4pangolins. Say NO to single-use plastics #4pangolins.
How will this make a difference? Share your action on social media and make people stop and think about whether they’re doing something that’s contributing to making the earth a better place or taking away from nature.
Participating is easy! Download your personal action sheet below, fill in the blank with your action, take a selfie holding up the message, and post the pic on Saturday 20 February, tagging #4pangolins.
What else can you do on World Pangolin Day 2021?
Watch the Eye of the Pangolin film again – or share the link with a friend or family member who hasn’t seen it yet, and make them fall in love with pangolins too (it is, after all, the month of love 🖤)
Take a micro class in Pangolins, developed in partnership with Be A Better Human – a perfect introduction to the four African species!
