Two-way handheld radio

R1,000.00

Communication is key for keeping our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. By constantly checking in with one another we’re able to look after the pangolins as best we can. We use two-way handheld radios to communicate during rescues, releases and rehabilitation. By contributing R1000 you are able to help us buy one set of these.

Description

As with everything we buy for the Kalahari wildlife project we go for quality and in the case of two-way radios that means battery life, range and durability and key purchasing factors. The sets we buy (comprising two units) retails for around R1000. We need several sets to communicate at the centre as well as the release and monitoring sites.

If you would like to donate more than one set of two radios then please add the desired amount to your cart.
